    HEY, WHAT'S UP? HELLO!

    I’m Sara and I’m here to help you fall in love with working out just like I have over the past couple years. I know, sounds crazy, but we’ll get to that later. 

    For now, I’m going to blabber about me! I live in Apex, North Carolina with my boyfriend Kyle. We tool around town (usually on out way to grab a latte), love to travel and hang with family and friends. When I’m not out and about, I’m home working on the daily grind, getting my sweat sessions in, cooking, loving life and creating workouts for YOU!

     

    MY STORY

    Fitness wasn’t exactly “my thing” growing up. Gym was my least favorite subject and PE was the only class that I didn’t ace in college. dead serious. Working out just wasn’t my jam. I had no desire and didn’t understand the people that did it FOR FUN? 

    Then I found Yoga. I fell in love with it pretty quickly. It was a workout but felt more like dancing. You sweat but I didn’t have to jump around or pick up dumbbells. I loved it so much, in fact, that I started teaching yoga! 

    Jump ahead a year or so and I wanted to mix it up. I’m one of those people that goes through phases. So I signed up for group training with Camp Gladiator. CG was NOT anything like yoga. I showed up with 5 lb weights my first day but had 25s in my hands and was doing laps carrying them before long. Coolest part, I loved it! 

    And then , on a whim, I signed up for the CG games – a fitness competition. I went in with the goal of just finishing prelims and ended up heading to finals in Texas where I placed 20th in my division. I can honestly say that is one of my proudest moments to date. 

    Somewhere in the middle of all that, there was shift. Working out wasn’t a “have to” anymore. It became a want to. I genuinely WANT to run, lift and push my limits. I make time to workout on vacation and at crazy hours of the morning because I love it. I crave that post workout high more than I crave donuts and that is saying A LOT folks. 

    So that’s how I got here. And now? I am bound and determined to help as many people as I can make that same pivot. Let’s turn working out into something we love, we crave and don’t want to leave out of our daily routine! Sounds good, right?

    EXERCISE FORM

    Modifications are my jam. Growth through solid form is too. And I am confident that with time and focus on form, you can do a full on burpee or whatever crazy combo move I throw at you!
