Fitness Junkie – I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’m in a fitness junkie phase. This came as a recommendation from my cousin, Krista, over at Sweat Smarter. Hearing a few snippets she couldn’t keep to herself over family vacay had me shipping this to my house as soon as we left the beach. This book promises to be a hilarious parody on the fitness industry as it stands today poking fun at crazy classes and trends and the suckers like me that are willing to pay for them. To read this one with me, get it here!
Harry Potter & Everything – Yep, all of them. It took me 26 years to finally decide I was going to read Harry Potter! Why in the world did I wait so long? Whether you’re 15 or 51, these books are GOOD. J.K. Rowling has a way of turning thousands of pages into a story you still wish wasn’t over! I was shocked in nearly every one of them and didn’t get bored at all! Harry may have gotten on my nerves a few times, but Hermoine was there for me when that was the case. Now, it’s time for a movie marathon!
You are a Badass –Surely you’ve already heard how awesome this book is. This was on of the first books I read that I think you would find in the “self help” section. Have to admit that diving into that section was something I’d avoided for a really long time. Yoga teacher training is actually what led my little feet into that section and now it is one of my most frequent. You are a Badass is an amazing entry into this genre. This book is engaging, real, and empowering. You WILL realize what a badass you are as you flip these pages.
What’s next? Tell me in the little boxes down there!
